So,This happened!

We began this adventure two years ago.  We are now for the most part, working empty nesters.  Would I love to drop everything and head to the beach..absolutely.  But, thats not possible since we are still in the prime of our careers.

In October of last year we decided to visit a few homes that had just come on the market.  All were nice, but nothing had ‘that view’ or access to the water we wanted except for the first house we entered.  The only problem was, it was a bit rough.  I was not wanting a “fixer upper”

So after leaving and talking we decided to put in an offer on  this house in a cute little community called Bass Landing.  After a couple of negotiations they actually turned us down.  I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.

In rolls December and another peek at the house to see if it was still on the market.  Yep, with a price drop.  Not sure what came over us, but we went for it.  Merry Christmas to us!!

So now the next few months will be making this home feel like ours.  Watch out Chip and Joanna.
